Taste the Saga

SAGA BAR is a promotional project organized by Saga Prefecture based on the concept of “Tasting Saga,” allowing visitors to experience the charm of the “real thing” of Saga, such as Saga sake, Arita porcelain and other traditional crafts, and foodstuffs produced in the prefecture. The “real thing” of Saga is communicated through a variety of methods, including collaborations with famous brands, stall openings at events, and collaborations with restaurants and chefs.
Currently, They have changed our business model from a storefront type to a storefront type, and we are now using various methods, such as opening events and POPUPs at restaurants, to communicate the attractiveness of Saga products to the rest of Japan.
The promotion “Saga Sake ‘Experience’ Space SAGA BAR” is a limited-time event in which SAGA BAR collaborates with restaurants in the three prefectures of Kyushu (Fukuoka, Kumamoto, and Kagoshima). During the event, the stores will be decorated with SAGA BAR’s original noren (curtain), creating a space where visitors can experience Saga sake. There, visitors can enjoy specially selected Saga sake as well as original menus using ingredients from Saga Prefecture.

Saga Sake “Experience” Space

Produced by DICE PROJECT, I created a key visual to promote awareness of Saga Bar, a space to “experience” Saga Sake, with the catch copy “Beyond the Noren, a space for Saga Sake. We created a key visual to promote awareness of the Saga Sake “experience” space, SAGA BAR, with the catchphrase, “Beyond the Goodwill is a Saga Sake Space. The visual depicts that the event will be held at a variety of restaurants, from high quality restaurants with a counter to popular restaurants, where visitors can taste Saga Sake by hanging a curtain over the bar. Based on the key color of navy blue, we selected a complementary color to differentiate each event in Kumamoto, Fukuoka, and Kagoshima.
